Welcome in Krušné hory!

Prague Zoo, Žacléř and Moravian Karst are behind us and together we will finish the GAPP Czech O-Tour 2025 in the Krušné hory! We believe that you will be able to enjoy not only the courses, but also the accompanying program.

At the last minute, due to the ongoing construction work, we decided to move the arena from the area in Lesná about 200 meters away, to the adjacent meadow. At the same time, we had to change the end of all the courses. We realize that not everything will be ideal, but we do everything we can to make you feel as good as possible. We believe that grass instead of mud will be a pleasant change for you – but you better not forget your boots 🙂.

Bulletin 2 Krušné hory

• Everything in one place! It’s just a short walk from the parking lot to the arena, less than a kilometer to the start line, and the finish line is in the arena.
• Be careful on the first stage (middle, start at 12:00), there are two starts! However, the route is the same and you will pass the closer start on your way from the parking lot. There are deeper and wider watercourses in the race area, so be careful. The same applies to the longer categories when crossing the access road.
• The second stage (long, starting at 9:00) will take you to steep slopes, so don’t forget shoes with good tread. If you are running one of the longer courses, you can look forward to refreshments along the way.
• Attention – time change! The clock will move back to 2:00 at 3:00 a.m., so the night from Saturday to Sunday will be an hour longer.
• Startlists: Saturday, Sunday
• After each stage, we will announce the best competitors. On Sunday, you can look forward to the announcement of the TOP 3 competitors of the entire Czech O-Tour 2025 series, the 8 best in the club competition, and the winners of the Sporticus finish.

News that hasn’t been on Czech O-Tour yet!

• The battle for victory in the club competition between Oddíl OB Kotlářka and SK Praga will be spiced up on Saturday by sticker start numbers, which we are testing for Orienteering World Cup 2026.
• Did you make a mistake? Did you see an animal? Did you get stuck in a swamp? Write all this down on the wall of mistakes at the finish line.
• Late Saturday afternoon (around 17:00) will be dedicated to a lantern parade. Don’t forget your headlamp, prepare your lantern in the children’s corner, and enjoy the magical atmosphere of the Ore Mountains with us.
• For the hardy ones – we highly recommend swimming in the pond!

• Every day there will be a different mini adventure race for children (starting from the children’s corner).
• Sporticus labyrinth – a new challenge and new courses every day.
• Have you tried the Cryptomania encryption game yet?
• Borrow a Str8 compass to test (at the O-RUN stand).
• The GAPP photo booth will be with us all year round – you’ll find it in the arena on Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00! Make a memory of the Czech O-Tour, and they’ll print your photo for free.
• Visit the Czech Army stand on Sunday.
• Please note that it will not be possible to pay by card at the catering stand.
