Czech O-Tour will take place in a UNESCO site for the first time this spring.

17. 11. 2025

In 2026, we’ll keep you waiting for the start of the first round a bit longer than usual. The Czech O-Tour season will kick off relatively late, on 11 April. Not only will we race in a UNESCO site for the very first time, but we’ll also join forces with the Czech Championships in KO Sprint!

Czech O-Tour 2026 opens with a major highlight – the first stop will be Třebíč, a town with a unique atmosphere where history meets sport. The race will take you into the Jewish Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, meaning Czech O-Tour will visit a world-heritage location for the first time ever! 🌍

And that’s not all – the weekend will also host the Czech Championships in knock-out sprint. This exciting discipline, bringing tension, tactics, and speed, will be held within Czech O-Tour for the very first time.

Třebíč is also welcoming a Czech Championship in the city centre after 21 years – the last major sprint event here took place back in 2005. For those feeling nostalgic, it’s worth revisiting mcr05.oobtrebic.cz.
Who raced in Třebíč in 2005?

You can look forward to a combination of top-level orienteering, the unique genius loci of a historic town, and the traditionally special Czech O-Tour atmosphere.
