Attention! Change of the E1 start time

5. 8. 2026

According to a very detailed forecast from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, which is available to the organizers, there is a high probability of extreme weather (thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong wind) on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

The detailed forecast predicts:

  • 5:00–8:00 – probablity of minor thunderstorms and showers
  • 9:00–13:00 – lowest probablity of extreme weather (best time for the start)
  • 13:00–14:30 – local forecast with a 50% chance of thunderstorms forming in close proximity to the arena
  • 17:00 and later – highest probability of thunderstorms, strong wind etc.

For us, the safety and health of the competitors, spectators, and organizers are of the most important priority. Therefore, due to the possibility of extreme weather, the start of the Stage 1 (August 6), is being rescheduled as follows:

  • The race start (00) will be at 9:00, meaning start times are being moved up by 4 hours (we recommend taking advantage of this time window).
  • Free start HDR, DH10F, OPEN-S/M/L, and T also from 9:00
  • A free start (“You start as soon as you arrive at the starting ilne”) will be available from 13:00 to 16:00 (as a last option for those who cannot complete the race earlier).

In the event of adverse conditions, the race may be terminated early.

Along with this update, there is also an update regarding buses to the arena – they will run every 15 minutes starting at 8:00. The event office, arena opening, and children’s corner will be open at 8:00. The accompanying program begins at 9:00.

In the case of a very adverse situation, please follow the organizers’ instructions and comply with evacuation procedures for leaving the arena. We ask competitors to proceed to their cars, the bus, or the designated area in the garage building next to the arena (300 m). Do not leave the parking lot until the situation has stabilized.

This article will be continuously updated with the latest information throughout the evening and night.
