In 1 month we will meet in Moravian Karst

The Czech O-Tour and the European Youth Orienteering Championships are coming up and it’s time to introduce what you can look forward to.

Apart from being able to cheer on the best youth, we’re not forgetting about you. We are intensively preparing an accompanying program – a competition through the tourist beauties of the Moravian Karst, a photo booth, a children’s race for the little ones, an orienteering bazaar and there will be much more! But we won’t reveal everything yet 🙂

We are fine-tuning the courses, we are not forgetting the refreshment controls and the medals are waiting for the best of you. Can you guess how many volunteers are preparing the Czech O-Tour and the Youth Championships? There are more than 220! There are 438 EYOC competitors, 95 coaches and most importantly 1100 Czech O-Tour participants. More fans will also come and on over 2 thousand of us orienteers will gather in Babice nad Svitavou already on July 18. And we are looking forward to seeing you!

Registration for the races closes on 29 June (1st deadline), it should be mentioned that the capacity is full (more in a separate article). But we have good news – even if you are not in the start field, you can sign up for the sprint race (E2) and we are preparing the possibility of training sessions on Friday and Sunday near the event centre, we will open the registration soon and let you know more information.
