News from the Ore Mountains: bulletin and map samples

The Ore Mountains (Krušné hory)? If you have been hesitating to sign up for the Czech O-Tour in October, you will definitely change your mind now. It will be worth it!

We are preparing everything so that the races will be as good as possible for you – it won’t be far to the starts, the finish is right in the arena and the terrain is magnificient. The course setters Martin and Kuba told us more about it.

Middle distance (Martin Klein)

During the middle distance, you will enjoy especially the typical mountain watercourses woven through very fast changing wild pastures and thickets. Many stones and marshes can also be found here. There are certainly places where, apart from the mapmaker, human feet have not yet set foot.

Long distance (Kuba Bílý)

Compared to the middle distance, the terrain of the long distance is more runnable. There is something of everything in the forest – watercourses and swamps, areas with many ridge and stone fields. The dominant feature of the map is a large double valley with a route choices between a long loop and a steep climb. By the way, take a look at the sample maps…
