In less than three months, we will be launching in Třebíč

It’s freezing outside, but the orienteering calendar is already looking forward to the spring season! What can we expect at the first GAPP Czech O-Tour race in 2026 in Třebíč? You can find out in the newly published Bulletin 1.

As we mentioned in November, you can still look forward to two sprint races on April 11 that will be truly worth your while. It is not without reason that Třebíč and its Jewish quarter are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site – narrow streets, stairs, … – all this awaits you during the races, as the newly published map samples suggest.

The Czech O-Tour will be accompanied throughout the race day by the Czech Knock-out Sprint Championships. We are curious to see how this new combination will work out, but we are fine-tuning everything so that you can cheer on the best Czech competitors. The KO sprint qualifiers will take place in the morning, followed by the first stage of the Czech O-Tour. In the afternoon the KO sprint elimination rounds will take place, followed by the second stage of the Czech O-Tour in the same terrain as the KO sprint finals. On Sunday, the organizers from Třebíč are also preparing a Vysočina League race (Regional Sprint Championships) in newly mapped terrain and from the same arena. We definitely recommend extending your stay in Třebíč until Sunday.

In addition, we have published accommodation options – you can use beds in the youth hostel or in the gym within walking distance of the competition arena.
