Read the following story of the orienteer Arthur, who did not succeed very well in his race. You should find several hidden objects in his story, compare them with the symbols of international specification for control descriptions (pay attention to the correct wording) and find out the right letters. Then rearrange the letters so that you get a word related to the Czech O-Tour series. Enter your solution in the answer form.

Task:

Lost Arthur

Arthur ran his first race this year. The air was cold, and his cheeks soon flushed, as if he had a child’s fifth illness.

He ran fast along the wide ride, but forgot to follow the map and suddenly he found he did not know where he was. He said to himself, “Stop! It must be somewhere behind me, I’ve definitely been running for too long.” But he wondered, “What if that’s not the case?”

“Don’t panic, a very simple solution is to go back to the last place I still knew where I was,” he convinced himself.

“Just rack your brain, Arthur, what object do you remember last?” he tried to remember. “Sure, the fodder rack was there, so hurry up to it.” And he ran back down the ride.

How all the things seemed to be simple now!

„I’ll definitely run a better race next time “, he told himself as he fell asleep on down pillow in the evening.

So, the words found are: hill – pit – cave – track – wall – terrace – pond

Assigned letters from the table to these words: A – O – B – T – I – N – S

The final word is: BASTION

The bastion was an essential element of the fortification system from the 16th to the 19th century. It was created as an object protruding in front of the line of the walls and was to allow their defense by side fire. 8 bastions were built in Terezín, which are part of the internal defense zone.  (Source)
And it was at Bastion No. 5 where the sprint arena at WOC 2021 was located. That is why the map is called “Terezín Bastion 5”.
