Rocky middle in footsteps of the bests

After a one-day break, the third stage of Czech Orienteering Tour summer series once again shared the arena with the World Cup and offered amazing technical terrain in the heart of the sandstone cliffs. With the programme stretched over the entire day, competitors were able to enjoy the best parts of the forest, just like the best runners in the World and finish the race with a long finish line to the finish gate with the IOF blue carpet. And just like the World Cup battles the Czech O Tour was accompanied by rainy weather that added a bit to the difficulty of the terrain.

Despite the rough weather Czech O Tour runners again made a great atmosphere of the World Cup Middle race.

The main elite categories were won by Tomáš Kučera and Barbora Chaloupská. Results of all the categories can be found here.
