Summer weather and sandstone cliffs right around the corner, second stage

5. 8. 2023

The campsite and pond in Nedamov near Dubá became the arena for the second stage of the Kwak Czech O-Tour in the Kokořín region. Over 1300 competitors from several countries enjoyed the sunny day. Many organizers of the World Cup, which had a rest day, could also run the race.

The race was run on the Barča map, named after the local chapel, in a rough terrain full of sandstone rocks and deep valleys. But there were also lots of vegetation details. The race area was relatively small and there were many controls close to each other, the courses were twisted and crossed in various ways.

After the race, runners appreciated the opportunity to swim and there was a giant water slide right at the arena.

The elite categories were won by Michaela Novotná and Daniel Bolehovský.
