You must be eager to see what we have in store for you on January 26 at the Prague Zoo. It’s time to reveal everything!
We have just released the Bulletin 1 and in it you will find everything you need – there will be a longer sprint with the best times around 24 minutes. You will enter the zoo through the main entrance, where each competitor will also receive a ticket, without which they will not leave the zoo. Race facilities will be provided by the nearby Education Centre in the zoo. Can you make it to the awards ceremony where you will be accompanied by elephants on stage?

Tereza Rauturier, one of the best athletes of Czech orienteergin team, will be the course setter together with Radim Hošek. “In less than a week we will be prerunning the courses in the ZOO, you can look forward to some videos and our observations from the terrain,” invites Tereza you to another article on our website.

So do not hesitate and look in ORIS. The limit of 1500 competitors is quickly filling up, then the last chance to run in the ZOO will be only by registering for the whole GAPP Czech O-Tour 2025 series. After the last entry deadline we will try a new feature – each competitor will be able to choose their start time from the offered options via the web application so that you can make the best use of the time spent in the ZOO with your family / friends after the race. In fairness, though, we have to admit that there won’t be much choice in the less crowded categories. Mark your calendars for the start of the selection of start times – January 16 at 20:00 (more information to come during January).After finishing your race, it will be possible to visit the zoo and there will hopefully be plenty of time (the zoo closes at 16:00).
