The podcast Správným směrem (In the Right Direction) will have its premiere. For the first time, it will be recorded in front of a live audience, and you can be there in person. The recording will take place during the Orienteering World Cup and the GAPP Czech O-Tour in Vyšší Brod. Do you have your ticket yet?

The recording will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 8:00 PM at the cinema in Vyšší Brod (GPS 48.6171N, 14.3115E, https://mapy.com/s/penadomabe).

Hosts Daniel Wolf and David Procházka have invited two great guests, Petr Kubásek and Tereza Rauturier.

Petr Kubásek is a longtime sports editor, program director, and commentator for Czech Television, and also heads the sports section in Brno. He commented on his first live broadcast from an orienteering event, and has been connected with orienteering at Czech Television since 2007, although his other sports include football, biathlon, and volleyball. He was the project manager for the television broadcast of this year’s Football World Championships 2026. He will also be commentating on this year’s Orienteering World Cup for Czech Television and will be on-site the entire time.

Tereza Rauturier is a freshly crowned world champion. She won gold in the KO sprint at the World Championships in Italy just a few days ago – the first individual gold medal for the Czech Republic in 17 years, since Dana Šafka Brožková’s last win. A native of Olomouc, she currently competes for the Czech club Slavia Liberec Orienteering and the Finnish club Suunta Jyväskylä. She will also be part of the Czech team at the Orienteering World Cup in Vyšší Brod.
