Are you ready for Pilsen?

3, 2, 1 …we’re off! Well, actually we have to wait a few more days, but the pre-start excitement is peaking for us and hopefully for you too. Are you ready for Pilsen? We’ve just posted the bulletin 2 and we’re expecting a programme packed with great orienteering, junior medals and accompanying programme!
It all starts before the first stage
- Accommodation at the Ejpovice campsite is available on 1st July from 14:00
- The start of the sprint relay of the JWOC will take place in the amphitheatre in Pilsen on 1st July at 16:15
- There will be a training near the Ejpovice campsite
- Sprint of the JWOC in Stříbro is scheduled for July 2 from 10:00 and sprint prologue of the Czech O-Tour from 13:30
Four races in TOP Pilsen terrains
- During the first stage, get ready for the swamps and thickets, you will also surely meet some rocks here and there.
- In the second stage almost everyone will look in a stone field, if you’re tapping your ankles, do it. The longer categories won’t be able to do it dry, so don’t let it get you down and don’t forget to check at the refreshment station.
- The third stage, in which you will have longer route choices in a forest with blueberries and here and there some valleys and especially a lot of grooves.
- If that wasn’t enough for you in the previous race, you’ll have plenty of grooves in the final stage, so keep an eye on it, because there will be a lot of controls.
- In the race arenas, you’ll find: Sporticus labyrinth, orienteering bazaar, Str8 compass testing, Czech O-Tour fanshop in the O-RUN stand, the latest headlamps of Lucifer, or the crypto game Cryptomania.
- In addition to the labyrinth, children can enjoy fun at the Str8 adventure race, children corner or during E1 and E3 with a 2nd century Roman legionary at the O-RUN stand
- Win a raffle prize each day at the announcement – like a KWAK sleeping bag, Bagheera Duffel Bag or Los Křupos badlbox.
- Don’t forget to bring your own cup, box or cutlery!

To the arenas for 1 € 😉
As the JWOC is one of the events monitored by the Czech National Sports Agency, they want us to issue tickets like other sports. Let‘s show that even Orienteers can pay for an extraordinary experience. For 20 CZK | For 1 € you can buy JWOC stickers, different for each day.
Please come with us, let‘s move orienteering among TOP sports! You can buy a ticket at the entrance to the arena. Accredited persons have free entry.
