Bulletin 3.1 and new arena for forest disciplines
Following the release of the updated Bulletin 3.1 and the change of the arena for the forest disciplines of the Orienteering World Cup Round 2, we were also forced to adjust the weekend program of the Kwak Czech O-Tour. The goal is that the spectators and at the same time the competitors of the accompanying races could use all the beauty of the terrain used for the World Cup and at the same time not disturb the regularity of the race.
The new program and locations of the entire Kwak Czech O-Tour summer series is as follows:
OWC Round 2 | Kwak Czech O-Tour | |
Wednesday 2nd August | Sprint Česká Lípa (14-19) | – |
Thursday 3rd August | Sprint Relay Česká Lípa (17-19) | Stage 1 – Sprint Česká Lípa (00 = 14:30) |
Friday 4th August | – | Stage 2 – Middle Nedamov (00 = 10:00) |
Saturday 5th August | Middle Korce (9-16) | Stage 3 – Middle Korce (00 = 16:00) |
Sunday 6th August | Long Korce (9-16) | Stage 4 – Long Korce (00 = 10:00) |
The Saturday program has thus been adjusted so that the race will start right after the end of the World Cup. Also for that reason, the order of the disciplines has been changed, i.e. there will be a middle distance race on Saturday and a long distance race on Sunday. In addition, shuttle buses will operate between the arena and start/finish area on Sunday.
We are aware of some inconveniences caused that you may not have expected. Until 15th July 2023, already registered competitors can make any changes (e.g. change of category, deregistration, etc.) to e-mail info@o-tour.cz.
