Beskydy: Two months to the start
The starter, the event director and the course setter met… Which of them likes the best local bagels called “frgály” and how much snow will fall at the end of October? Two months to go until the start of the Czech O-Tour Beskydy and we also have map samples ready!
We are just returning from a tour of theCzech O-Tour 2024 final stage. All the competiton areas have been completely discovered, the start positions have been fine-tuned, the controls in the open-air museum are in place, we have checked out the local café, checked into the accommodation, said hello to the cable car staff and we are going home with a bag full of bagels.
During the autumn holidays, October 26-28 , we compete in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm (Saturday sprint in the open-air museum) and Bílá (Sunday middle distance and Monday long). Entry deadline is set for October 13 with a limit of 1000 competitors and already over 730 of you have registered. Accommodation capacities are filling up fast, so don’t delay in booking. We will try to secure accommodation in the sport hall in coming weeks, so watch the website for info.
Warm downstairs in the arena, maybe snow upstairs. You’ll ride the cable car, taste the bagels and maybe concert will take place. So, shall we meet during the autumn holidays in the Beskydy Mountains?
